Welcome
Through our eyes, you will experience the outdoors as 4th and 5th graders viewed Southwest Virginia on a summer day. We took pictures of outdoor life to correlate with our SOL 3.10.
Student Expectations
Each student will:
take a nature walk to investigate nature around us;
look for effects of weather and human activity on habitats;
photograph the plants and animals we find;
share and discuss nature photographs;
edit nature photographs for posting;
write in MicrosoftWord and paste writings into the blog itself;
post a podcast as part of this project.

Today at tech camp we took pictures of nature. I learned about different flowers and bugs. We found many flowers, insects, and more. We heard many birds but we didn’t see them .They were in the air in the woods and we were on the ground .It was hard for us to take some pictures of the fly because it was moving. The rain helped us make a good picture. The rain made the texture of sassafras leaves show up better.
